"My son was having a really hard time in school— unable to regulate emotions, refusing to listen to his teachers, poor impulse control, etc. Jodi and Tehilla believed that changing the name we called him would alter his personality and provide the best form of behavior modification. At first I objected; while he did have another name, I came up with the name we were calling him from his time of birth. It felt like changing his name meant I had made a mistake with my original choice.
Ultimately, though, I realized that the situation was bigger than me and my pride. When we started him in school this fall, with his new name, it was like we had a completely different child. Along with the name change, Jodi and Tehila did a ton of energy work for him, assisting with all his behavior challenges that, thankfully, no longer exist. None of the issues we had for the past several years arrived with him. It was truly like meeting a new person who was happy, pleasant, and not melting down over the minutiae.
Even my husband, who has a hard time understanding the benefits of energy work, had to admit that the change was enormous and could not simply be chalked up to “regular growth and development.” Too much had changed. For anyone on the fence, I could not recommend Jodi and Tehilla enough. They will make everything so much better."
